A bit of Fresh Air
Hey, it’s almost 10 o’clock and I am trying to squeeze some writing time before I could to go to bed. My boys are already down for the night but I couldn’t go without saying some few words.
A new month has started which means a new chances to improve ourselves. One of the ways I have started to do that is to go on morning walks at the park. This enables me to relax and unleash any unnecessary thoughts out of my mind and plus it’s a good way to start the day. Wellness walks, that’s what I decided to name the walks I’ve been going in the morning. I must admit I wasn’t sure that I was going to go though with it. In the past I have been saying things that I’m going to do but I never do. However this 2022 is going to be different by having a new attitude and new mindset. The wellness walks in the last two days have been uplifting to my soul and energy.
The cold breeze going through my face. The people passing by me as I walk by. The leafless trees. Things that I have been missing out because I refuse to leave the apartment. There are several reasons behind this, it's not solely on COVID but the limited parking we have at our new place. So whenever I get a parking spot near the apartment I refuse to go anywhere because I don’t want to lose the spot. If anything I would wait until my husband came home from work to run my errands. I don’t like to hassle to find a parking spot, that’s why I rather not to go anywhere. If I could avoid any unnecessary stress, I would do it. I know that’s bad but that’s how I work. Those are the small things that I need to work on. My personal development is a work in progress.
Well, let’s see how day 3 turns out tomorrow .
